The Pussycat Dolls were born in a tiny dance studio in the L.A. garage of actress Christina Applegate but now have set they sights to take over the world. Sure, because they're on a world tour so not only will you see them on every award show they will also be bringing in the New Year on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin’ Eve

Robin Antin, the creator of Pussycat Dolls says "It's about female empowerment, about being confident with who you are. It's about singing and dancing in front of a mirror by yourself and having fun."

So, why does everyone like The Pussycat Dolls? Well, they sing great, they dance great and they look great -- especially when they do it in skimpy lingerie and garters. Who are the Pussycat Dolls? Nicole Scherzinger, Carmit Bachar, Ashley Roberts, Jessica Sutta, Melody Thornton, and Kimberly Wyatt.

And lead singer Nicole Scherzinger explains, "To me, a Pussycat Doll is fearless but also vulnerable. We're strong but we like to play too. The line in 'Don't Cha'--'don't cha wish your girlfriend was hot like me'--is meant to be empowering. The Pussycat Dolls are not about just being hot but also about saying something with real feeling."

'Can I Have It Like That'

You gotta be just lovin the latest from Pharrell Williams 'Can I Have It Like That' featuring the fantastic Gwen Stefani. Well what else would you expect from Pharrell? You gotta check out the down and dirty bassline. Pharrell has also been working with Gwen in the studio on her next solo album. Listen, if this track is anything to go by then Gwen’s new album will be sure be worth a listen to. Gwen Stefani is also on another track that is R&B called 'Angel'.

Pharrell is the whiz kid of the Neptunes and NERD but has already enhoyed some good success with the single 'Fontin'.

Pharell did eveything on this debut solo album. And I mean everything. He produced, programmed, mixed and played all the instruments. The album is titled 'In My Mind' and has seven hip-hop tracks and seven R&B songs.
